Crystal Village

There is a village filled with castles made of crystal and ice.

All the beings who live here have hearts made of light.

The beings with dark hearts can't see the village.

They walk right by.

And the light hearted ones laugh.

A Fairy's land and True for me

 

True for Me

I've heard the whispers and laughter of fairies

I've felt the presence of angels

I know what animals are feeling

the emotions of plants

I believe unicorns are real

and dragons

I once knew how to fly

deep in my cells I remember life as a mermaid

I believe the images

of the imagination

are real

real in another place

another time

another land

Art Every Day Month, Day 30

It's the last day of November and the last day of "art every day month".

The last day of "art every day month" last year

I looked back through all my paintings.

I realized that I was given messages and words of wisdom for myself

and anyone else who wanted them.

This year as I look back on my paintings this month,

I realize that instead of wisdom there are questions . . .

Do you ever feel like you're being watched? Do you have any thoughts about 11-11-11? Is there such a thing as a unicorn pegasus? Do you think you will continue after November? Where would you love to be today? Which one do you like better? What color is your day today? Has anything surprised you lately? Has anything magical shown up in your life? What's been showing up in your life lately? Do you somethings feel like you've forgotten something important? Is he son of green man perhaps? Are you ready to say goodbye to November?

So many questions.

Maybe I am not a year wiser but

a year more questioning, seeking, maybe more carefree.

So maybe carefree is a wiser way to to be.

 

I send a big thank you to Leah  for creating " art every day month"

and to all my bloggy friends, old and new.

And I hope we will continue the journey together.

MESSAGES

Well it’s the last day of AEDM, what a wonderful magical month it’s been.

I want to thank everyone who joined me on this journey.

I decided to look back at my daily creations to see what they had to tell me.

I really believe art can be messengers and messages from your

inner guidance/higherself/angels/subconscious.

 

So what did all these art beings have to tell me?

 

They reminded me that I love:

cardinals

garden cottages by the sea

soup

charming main streets

quiet night breezes

 

They reminded me that my true self is:

Queen

I’m as strong as the wind

and I can be a shapeshifter if I choose

 

They reminded me that:

fairies are everywhere

especially in the forest

and fairies need special places to dream

angels are everywhere in disguise

there are beautiful landscapes on other worlds

guardians are around us in many forms

trees are sometimes lonely

and flowers love to dance

 

They reminded me that a good way to live is to:

follow your heart and intuition

enjoy the journey

some days just float

walk through doors in strange forests

find color in grey

create childlike things

love your own unique beauty

love yourself no matter what

be here

emerge

always create

find your tribe

 

They told me not to forget that:

gratitude will make everything beautiful

beauty is everywhere

and there is always light to be found

 

And they reminded me sometimes you just need to

breathe and look at the night stars.

It’s late night

early morning

outside

it’s black

icy

quiet

except

for the distant sounds

of trucks on a highway

I wonder where they’re going

I wonder where I’m going

in my mind I see a door

in the middle of an odd forest

a forest where trees grow like vines

I paint

along with the painting

comes a question . . .

 

There is a door

in the middle of a strange forest

you don’t know where you are

or how you got there

the door calls to you

you feel drawn to it
