The Tea Fairies

Let me introduce you to “The Tea Fairies”  

The first fairy I'd like to introduce you to is Azura.

Azura is a confident, powerful and strong fairy. I painted her with eco friendly paint on a tea bag which I then attached to a book page.

The fairies came to me, we needed each other. We are family just as many other humans are. Several years ago when I felt I lost my spirit and my joy they began to tap me on the shoulder. They communicated with me through my feelings, my knowing, my inner and second sight and my art. In 2013 I met a group of fairies. I learned about them, envisioned them and began to translate them through my art. I call this group of fairies “The Tea Fairies” I called them this because as soon as I saw them I knew they needed to be painted on teabags, in keeping with their charming and tiny nature.

I learned that The Tea Fairies are quirky, and have their own unique beauty. I learned that they love being fancifully adorned and they love themselves even with their quirks. They have a strong sense of self love. This is something they hope to teach humans. They radiate pure delight to those who need it.

Finally Free

I have a wish that one day all animals will be treated with kindness, love and compassion. I long for a day when all animals will be seen as the special individual beings that they are. I know they want to live a happy peaceful life just as much as I do. And this is what inspired this painting.

A sweet pig sleeps. He dreams he is floating in a beautiful meadow, in peace, completely safe and finally free.

Gratitude and Fairies

“Gratitude” is a dreamscape of an angel fairy in a vivid meadow. As I painted this I was reminded that there is so much in life to be grateful for. The sun, flowers and every blade of grass is a reason for gratitude. And gratitude transforms everything into beauty.

I began telling my story of my communication with the Fae here and then here, for those interested here is the continuation:

This is what I learned from the nature beings. They once lived on the land but were slowly driven away by the actions of humans over a long time. The spraying of poisonous chemicals drove the last of the nature beings away. I learned that I have always been connected to the nature beings. I've always loved the forest. I've always loved the ocean. And I'd call myself a mermaid. Mermaids are the fairies of the Ocean. There are many types of nature beings. What most people call fairies are just one type of nature being. We usually think of flower fairies when we say “fairy”. I began to communicate with a particular group of nature beings.

Summer's Abundance and a Baby Dragon

Today I gathered beautiful purple and red tomatoes,

lemon cucumbers and purple pole beans from the

overflowing garden.

There was more than enough for me to enjoy,

to share and to give away.

To me this is true abundance.

I have been working on a new painting

for my dragon series

and just finished it.

It's of a baby dragon.

I am truly grateful for days like this.
