Grey Day
Finding a Way to Grey
If you know me, you probably know I love colors, bright, vivid colors. When I paint with watercolors, which is what I’ve been mostly painting with lately, I hardly ever use black, browns or greys. I usually use those colors in acrylic paintings. But today I felt I really wanted to paint with grey, but I didn’t want to just mix black and white together. So I combined deep purples and pale yellows until I found shades of grey that I was happy with. Then I used those greys for the trees and parts of the sky.
It is definitely a grey day.
What color is your day today?
I like this and how the shades all blend together. I should use other colors like grey and browns. Maybe winter is a good time to do that. :)

That is what it looks like here!
Yours looks much more appealing, however ;)

Last couple days here, I've felt like I was flying the wind that pouring through the trees -- I can FEEL the sway of your painting!

It has been a white day - snowflakes! But none have settled, and in an hour or so it will start to look just like your painting here. I love how you found a happy way to grey!
