Well it’s the last day of AEDM, what a wonderful magical month it’s been.

I want to thank everyone who joined me on this journey.

I decided to look back at my daily creations to see what they had to tell me.

I really believe art can be messengers and messages from your

inner guidance/higherself/angels/subconscious.

 

So what did all these art beings have to tell me?

 

They reminded me that I love:

cardinals

garden cottages by the sea

soup

charming main streets

quiet night breezes

 

They reminded me that my true self is:

Queen

I’m as strong as the wind

and I can be a shapeshifter if I choose

 

They reminded me that:

fairies are everywhere

especially in the forest

and fairies need special places to dream

angels are everywhere in disguise

there are beautiful landscapes on other worlds

guardians are around us in many forms

trees are sometimes lonely

and flowers love to dance

 

They reminded me that a good way to live is to:

follow your heart and intuition

enjoy the journey

some days just float

walk through doors in strange forests

find color in grey

create childlike things

love your own unique beauty

love yourself no matter what

be here

emerge

always create

find your tribe

 

They told me not to forget that:

gratitude will make everything beautiful

beauty is everywhere

and there is always light to be found

 

And they reminded me sometimes you just need to

breathe and look at the night stars.

Star Gaze

Some nights all I want to do is stare at the sky.

 

And a little info about my journals: 

They are 5"x8" so they are the perfect size to keep by your bedside and write down all your thoughts before sleep, and your dreams and morning ponderings when you wake up. They are also the perfect size to throw in your bag, purse or back pack to capture inspiration whenever it strikes or to just sketch a quick doodle. November

Thoughts on November

There are only three more days in this month. And I’m a little sad to see this month end. Although this is my second year participating in "art every day month" and although creating has always been a very important part of my life, this November really made me realize how important it is to create every day. There have been periods in my life when weeks or months would go by where I wouldn’t create at all. And those were times when my soul ached. I also realize how important sharing and connection are. Creating without sharing can lose its joy at times. So I’m setting a little intention here to continue to create every day and to find a way to connect more. The word tribe keeps popping in my head, hmm something to think about. Well thanks for stopping by, I’d love to hear any of your thoughts.

As Strong as the Wind

Today I still had yesterday’s painting on my mind. Yesterday’s painting was a mermaid enjoying a gentle evening breeze. But today my girl is facing a powerful wind and standing right in it. She realizes she is just as powerful as the wind.

 

I have a few thoughts about this piece, but I’ll let it speak for itself.
