The Tale . . .
All day long The Queen pondered . . .
Four hundred and forty four
beautiful luxury castles
overlooking the river
and great dramatic parties are certainly interesting.
But . . . I think . . . I think I'd like to try . . . thinking!
The kingdom rang and moved upward.
Yes, thinking thoughts . . . now that would be really interesting!
The End
The Process ...
This painting is an altered page in my altered book.
(this book was recycled, destined for the landfill)
On a page I circled words that appealed to me.
Then I painted over the rest of the page.
I then paintedThe Queen.
Then I took the words that I didn't paint over
and made up the fun little tale.
And that was that!
Thanks for stopping by.

What a great way to use a book, I never thought of just picking out single words!

Great idea! I like it so much better than cutting out words, makes it much more of a challenge to come up with something like your story and painting.
