I am so glad that you got to the ocean and especially that you stayed in a place called Mermaid cottages. I live outside of Atlanta and so Tybee is not that far from me. It has been awhile since I have been there but the cottages sound lovely. I love your painting of the pink cottage. What a wonderful way to remember your vacation.

I will never cease to be amazed at the COLORS you create in your pieces...they are just gorgeous!! The pink cottage...oh what a perfect retreat, it sounds wonderful!

What a wonderful way to spend five days....at the beach in a pink cottage! Both your paintings show your love for the beach.

Janice

Oh my word! You dreamed it up and made it come to you! What a perfect place for you to stay in, and I'm so pleased you had a lovely break.

So wonderful, Julie! Sounds like the perfect thing to boost you up. Love that pink cottage (so serendipitous that it's a mermaid cottage!) and your paintings! Just reading your entry makes me feel renewed, too.

No way! Hmmm . . . you painted your reality! And it sounds lovely - I'm glad you had a nice time and that you got some beach time with your DH! AND, this is one of my favorite paintings of yours yet - the bold pink color is so FAB! xoxo
