Believe it or not sometimes I take life too seriously.
I guess that's why my art is so important to me.
It brings me to a place that is carefree and light.
I've been having a lot of fun with my altered book
that I started here.
Meet Claudette.
Claudette likes to drink lots of coffee and stay up late.
She also likes others to know what's real about her and what isn't!

Your altered book looks like lots of fun! (I like how you've used it's creation as a metaphor for living too) I've been wanting to give altered books a try... maybe someday :)

thanks for your lovely comment on my blog. you are right you can only do what you can do and as long as we try our best to make ethical choices that's as much as we can hope for. i love Claudette's massive eyes-certainly looks wide awake from all that coffee! also her lushious deep red lips match my new beauty without cruelty nail varnish!
