I found a book that was destined for the landfill, to use for my altered book. I really enjoyed playing around with this. I painted over the words I didn't like and kept the words I did like. It's a great metaphor for life, just paint over what you don't like and keep what you do like! Here is the little poetic message I received when I put the words together that I didn't paint over.
begin morning
life turned easier
providing innocent
real life
continued
