If you know me then you know I love color! And I love Summer. I found an art challenge by the lovely Kristin called The Summer of Color The first color of the challenge is one of my favorite colors, blue. I am going to be creating with my favorite mediums, watercolor and gouache. I also think I am going to play around with an altered art book. I love books and never really liked the thought of “destroying” a book! But I really like recycling. So I'm going to recycle and create art from a book that was destined for a land fill.
This isn't part of the challenge but here is a blue creation from the past.

Your blues are lovely. The angels also look like the Aurora Borealis. I wish I had known about the challenge earlier - but look forward to seeing what you come up with anyway!
