I've been absent from my blog for a little while. A dear family member is no longer with us and these are sad times. Whenever someone leaves your life it really is a reminder of how precious life is. It is a reminder of what is important. Life truly is a gift. Today is today and tomorrow is also today. There is nothing more important than the present.
Painting is always so healing for me
and keeps me focused on the present moment.
This painting is inspired by the color green for The Summer of Color

So so sorry to hear that you've lost someone dear. The present is indeed precious and I'm so thankful for you that this week's colour was a tranquil green. x

This one looks like a fairy tale. I'd love to jump right in and get away for a while.
